Building the thing right is half the job; the other half is making sure it's the right thing.

The technical shape of the product before speed turns into chaos: system boundaries, data models, workflow design, integration planning, and what can fail in production. These decisions are cheap to make early and brutal to unwind later, so we make them deliberately. We stick around when the system goes live.
Fits best when the platform is complex, the rebuild is messy, or there's no senior architecture leadership in-house.

Production software, not throwaway prototypes. Frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, internal tooling, and the ugly edge cases that separate a demo from a product: auth, money, permissions, hardware that misbehaves, and the recovery strategy for when it does.
Fits best for first builds, rebuilds, and launches you can't afford to fumble.
The workEmbedded partnership

Senior engineering inside your team, month over month, carrying an existing product and its roadmap. We embed like a product team, not a ticket vendor: senior engineering is on every engagement, and UX, PM, or additional capacity join from the studio's network when the product calls for them, not because you upgraded a tier. Most partnerships are continuity after a build we led; standalone ones happen selectively, and either way a three-month minimum applies. This is ongoing ownership, not monthly delivery with a separately accepted build result every month.
Fits best for existing products and teams that need continuity. Fractional engineering leadership is the usual shape.

Sometimes the right software is a website. We build marketing sites when the site has real structural stakes. Yeti Island designed Hyperlocology's; we built the WordPress publishing system underneath it and had it live in a month. A five-page brochure site isn't that, and it can be done well for far less elsewhere. On tools: we don't have a house stack to sell you. Our work runs on React and Next.js, TypeScript and Node, Postgres and Prisma, Three.js, WordPress and PHP — and this site runs on TanStack Start. The product picks the stack; the stack doesn't pick the product.
Who it isn't for.
If the spec is finished and you only want hands to type it, we'll frustrate you — questions are most of what you'd be paying for. If you have a functioning engineering team and need extra seats, that's staff augmentation, and a staffing firm will serve you better. If you're comparing hourly rates, we can't give you one. And if the idea has no path to a real build budget yet, a fit call would be a pleasant conversation you don't need to spend thirty minutes on. That's not a judgment on your project — it's triage, and it's the same honesty we'd want pointed at us.
