Services

Four names for one job.

House of Giants is a principal-led product engineering studio. Product strategy, architecture, full-stack execution, embedded partnership — four names for the same job: building the right software and keeping it standing in production. We scope around what the product needs, not around a menu of disconnected services.

Capabilities

What we actually do.

The name of the game is product thinking with execution. Every capability below shows up inside one engagement… which ones lead depends on the product, not on a package.

Product strategy

What to build, and why

What gets built, in what order, and why. We work the roadmap from inside the build loop. Prioritization, scoping, delivery sequencing, and the implementation tradeoffs that only show up once real code is moving. Building the thing right is half the job; the other half is making sure it's the right thing.

How we decide

Architecture

The expensive-to-reverse calls

The technical shape of the product before speed turns into chaos: system boundaries, data models, workflow design, integration planning, delivery risk. These decisions are cheap to make early and brutal to unwind later, so we make them deliberately. We stick around when the system goes live.

Best fitComplex platforms · Messy rebuilds · No senior architecture leadership in-house

PebbleSpaces

Full-stack execution

Senior hands in the code

Production software, not throwaway prototypes. Frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, internal tooling, and the ugly edge cases that separate a demo from a product: auth, money, permissions, hardware that misbehaves, and the recovery strategy for when it does.

The work

Embedded partnership

$8k–$20k/month

Senior engineering inside your team, month over month, carrying an existing product and its roadmap. We embed like a product team, not a ticket vendor: senior engineering is on every engagement, and UX, PM, or additional capacity join from the studio's network when the product calls for them, not because you upgraded a tier. Most partnerships are continuity after a build we led; standalone ones happen selectively, with a three-month minimum.

The CyberNest

What it costs

Every shape above has a published price. The fit call, Product Inception, phased builds, the partnership all live on the pricing page, with what moves each number and who's accountable at those numbers. One page, one set of numbers, nothing to drift.

What the work costs

Fit

Who this is for.

Early-stage startups with real budget and no engineering org yet.

Founders under product pressure who need their first serious engineering partner, before the wrong architecture calcifies and the first rebuild eats the runway. The point of getting in on the ground floor is building it right the first time.

Established companies building something new.

Profitable businesses entering a new market, or rebuilding a product that stopped earning trust. Not a startup — same need: senior product engineering without standing up a whole org first.

And if you searched for web development —

Sometimes the right software is a website. We build marketing sites when the site has real structural stakes. Yeti Island designed Hyperlocology's; we built the WordPress publishing system underneath it and had it live in a month. A five-page brochure site isn't that, and it can be done well for far less elsewhere. On tools: we don't have a house stack to sell you. Our work runs on React and Next.js, TypeScript and Node, Postgres and Prisma, Three.js, WordPress and PHP — and this site runs on TanStack Start. The product picks the stack; the stack doesn't pick the product.

Who it isn't for.

If the spec is finished and you only want hands to type it, we'll frustrate you — questions are most of what you'd be paying for. If you have a functioning engineering team and need extra seats, that's staff augmentation, and a staffing firm will serve you better. If you're comparing hourly rates, we can't give you one. And if the idea has no path to a real build budget yet, a fit call would be a pleasant conversation you don't need to spend thirty minutes on. That's not a judgment on your project — it's triage, and it's the same honesty we'd want pointed at us.

You don't have to name the capability. Tell us about the product — the shape of the work follows.
